For Shopify stores that blog

Know the moment your blog starts losing Google traffic.

Blog Health Monitor watches your Google Search Console data every week and emails you exactly which posts are slipping, why it's happening, and what to fix — before months of content work quietly disappears from search.

The problem

Content decay is silent. By the time you notice, the traffic is gone.

  • Rankings slip a position at a time. A post drops from #4 to #7 and loses half its clicks — with no error, no alert, nothing in your Shopify dashboard.
  • Nobody re-checks old posts. You published it, it ranked, you moved on. Google kept re-evaluating it every day since.
  • Search Console has the answer — buried. The data exists, but comparing every page across time windows by hand takes hours you don't have.

What it checks

Four health checks. Every post. Every week.

Each scan reads your blog and your Search Console data, then labels every post the way an SEO consultant would — automatically.

Traffic decay

Catches posts losing Google clicks

Compares the last 28 days of search clicks to the previous 28 for every page, flags the decliners, and diagnoses the likely cause: a ranking slip, a demand drop, or a mix.

−41 clicks · slipped from position 4 → 7 · likely cause: ranking slip
Money leak

Finds posts that earn readers but sell nothing

A post pulling in traffic with zero links to your products or collections is leaking revenue. Every scan lists them so each popular post pulls its commercial weight.

2,300 words · 480 monthly readers · 0 product links
Broken link

Flags links to deleted products and dead pages

Products get discontinued, URLs change, and old posts keep pointing at them. Broken links frustrate readers and waste SEO value — the scan finds every one.

links to /products/discontinued-model-x · 404 not found
Thin content

Spots posts too short to rank

Pages under 300 words rarely rank and can drag down how Google rates your whole site. The scan flags them so you can expand, merge, or retire them.

34 words · below the 300-word threshold · expand or consolidate
How it works

Set it up once. It watches every week after that.

STEP 01

Install from Shopify

Add Blog Health Monitor to your store like any other app. It runs inside your Shopify admin — nothing touches your theme or slows your storefront.

STEP 02

Connect Search Console in one click

Sign in with Google and pick your site. The app reads your search data — read-only — so it can see how every blog page performs. No Google Analytics required.

STEP 03

Get a weekly health report

Every week the app re-scans everything and emails you only what needs attention — which pages, how many clicks lost, and the likely cause. No news is good news.

Pricing

One plan. Less than an hour of an SEO consultant's time.

FAQ

Questions merchants ask

Do I need Google Analytics for this to work?

No. Blog Health Monitor uses Google Search Console, which is free and focused on exactly one thing: how your pages perform in Google Search. If your store isn't on Search Console yet, setting it up takes about ten minutes and we point you to Google's official guide.

What data does the app access?

Two things: your blog posts (via Shopify, to check links and content) and your Search Console performance data (read-only — clicks, impressions, and positions for your own pages). We never modify your site, never access customer data, and never share or sell any data. Full details are in our privacy policy.

Will it slow down my store?

No. The app runs entirely outside your storefront — nothing is added to your theme, no scripts load for your visitors. Scans run on our servers against Shopify's and Google's APIs.

My blog has hundreds of posts. Can it handle that?

Yes — every scan covers your entire blog, whether that's 10 posts or 1,000. Weekly scans run automatically in the background, so size never becomes your problem.

What do I do when a post is flagged?

Each alert includes the likely cause, which tells you the fix: a ranking slip usually calls for a content refresh, a money leak means adding relevant product links, broken links need updating or removing, and thin posts should be expanded or merged. You stay in control — the app diagnoses, you decide.

How do I cancel?

Uninstall the app from your Shopify admin at any time — billing stops immediately through Shopify, and your data is deleted from our systems. No emails to send, no hoops.

Your next traffic drop is already starting somewhere.
